David and Victoria Beckham’s eldest son Brooklyn Beckam shared an explosive six-page statement where he accused his parents of all sorts of things, including trying to destroy his relationship with his now-wife, Nicola Peltz. Now, the soccer star has responded, opening up about his childrens’ social media “mistakes.”

Brooklyn Beckham used his Instagram page to post a bombshell six-page statement accusing his parents, Victoria and David Beckham, of controlling his entire life and ruining his wedding.

26-year-old Brooklyn, the eldest son of the former Spice Girl and soccer star, launched an attack on his parents after months of rumors about the feud. For example, Brooklyn claimed his parents had put “pressure” on him to sign away the rights to his own name.

He wrote that “weeks before” his and now-wife Nicola Peltz’s wedding, his parents “repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe” him to sign the rights to his name away.

“They were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated. My holdout affected the payday, and they have never treated me the same since,” Brooklyn wrote on Instagram.

Moreover, the 26-year-old claimed his mother, Victoria, had called him “evil,” and accused her of ‘hijacking’ the first dance at his wedding, which left him “uncomfortable and humiliated.”

“My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family, no matter how hard we’ve tried to come together as one. My mum has repeatedly invited women from my past into our lives in ways that were clearly intended to make us both uncomfortable,” Brooklyn Beckam wrote.

Victoria Beckham has stayed quiet since her son’s explosive claims. However, David Beckham has now broken his silence. When appearing on CNBC’s financial program Squawk Box in Davos during the World Economic Forum, the former soccer star stated that his children had made “mistakes” on social media.

“I have always spoken about social media and the power of social media. For the good and for the bad. What kids can access these days, it can be dangerous. But what I have found personally, especially with my kids as well, use it for the right reasons. I’ve been able to use my platform for my following, for UNICEF,” David Beckham said, per the Mirror.

“And it has been the biggest tool to make people aware of what’s going on around the world for children. And I have tried to do the same with my children, to educate them. They make mistakes, but children are allowed to make mistakes. That is how they learn. That is what I try to teach my kids. You sometimes have to let them make those mistakes as well.”

Earlier, David Beckham refused to comment when asked about the row by Sky News.
