Rob Reiner & wife Michele found dead at L.A. home – wounds consistent with knife

Legendary filmmaker and actor Rob Reiner, 78, and his wife, Michele Singer Reiner, 68, were found dead on Sunday, December 14, 2025, inside their home in Brentwood, Los Angeles. Authorities have described the incident as an apparent homicide, and the discovery has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry and the public.

Police and first responders were dispatched to the residence around 3:30–3:40 p.m. local time following a call requesting medical assistance. The couple met during the production of When Harry Met Sally…, married in 1989, and shared three children.
