New angle released of woman, 37, shot dead by ICE agent as tragic details emerge

A new angle has emerged of the horrifying shooting of Renee Nicole Good at the hands of an ICE officer in Minneapolis.

A firestorm is currently raging online as people attempt to grapple with the terrifying prospect that the Trump administration’s controversial immigration task force is now able to murder citizens with impunity.

Contrary to initial claims that Good, 37, had been trying to run over ICE officers in her vehicle (and that officers were subsequently forced to shoot her) video footage of the incident appears to confirm that she was trying to drive away when she was fatally shot at close range.

The Department of Homeland Security, via assistant secretary for public affairs Tricia McLaughlin, stated that Good had “weaponized her vehicle, attempting to run over our law enforcement officers in an attempt to kill them,” calling it “an act of domestic terrorism.”

No sooner had the aforementioned footage made its way onto the internet, however, than did it become a hotly-contested topic that has further strained political tensions in the US.

A new video angle appears to show Good reversing her vehicle as one ICE officer attempts to gain access to her vehicle. She then turns her wheels to the right and tries to drive away.

The second officer (the one who fired the fatal shots) is standing in front of Good’s vehicle, with her wheels now pointed in a direction away from him. As Good attempts to pull away, she clips the officer in question with her car, but not hard enough to knock him down.

The office responds by firing a shot through her front window, before firing two further rounds through the side window as Good tries to flee.

The footage has been judged by many to dispel the idea that the 37-year-old was actively trying to mow down ICE agents in her car.

Despite that, President Trump and other high-ranking members of his administration have publicly condemned Good.

“Murder. Plain and simple,” wrote on individual on X. “There are times we can no longer stay silent. This is the time. This is murder.”

A second said of the ICE officer unloading his gun: “That wasn’t self defence. That was retaliation/anger that she was getting away. They should all prosecuted.”

The Mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey, led the charge in denouncing the slaying, ordering ICE to “get the f*** out of Minneapolis.”

“They are not here to cause safety in this city. What they are doing is not to provide safety in America. What they are doing is causing chaos and distrust,” Frey said.

He added: “They’re ripping families apart. They’re sowing chaos on our streets and in this case quite literally killing people.”

Frey also rubbished claims that the ICE agent acted in self-defense, saying: “They are already trying to spin this as an action of self defense. Having seen the video myself, I wanna tell everybody directly, that is bullsh*t.”
