Budweiser’s “American Icon” Super Bowl commercial is truly a must-see

Budweiser has become famous for its Super Bowl commercials — and this year’s spot added yet another memorable chapter to that legacy.

The beer brand’s 2026 ad, titled “American Icons,” once again featured its signature Clydesdale horses, this time alongside a bald eagle in a touching story about friendship and growth.

Over 125 million viewers tuned in for Sunday’s Super Bowl, and what a spectacle it was. From Bad Bunny’s unforgettable halftime show to the Seahawks’ dominant victory, the game had it all. But if you’re like me, it’s often the commercials that steal the spotlight — especially the ones starring adorable animals.

Thankfully, you didn’t have to wait to see one of the most anticipated ads: Budweiser’s latest masterpiece. And just as expected, it did not disappoint. This year’s commercial, featuring a baby Clydesdale and a baby eagle growing up together, delivered a heartwarming story that had viewers completely captivated.

Celebrating both Budweiser’s 150th anniversary and America’s upcoming 250th birthday, the 60‑second commercial continued Budweiser’s long tradition of emotionally driven Super Bowl spots, using classic American imagery and storytelling that has made its ads a cultural highlight of the big game.

Titled “American Icons,” the ad is already on Budweiser’s YouTube channel with the tagline: “For 150 Years, This Bud’s For You. Watch our Super Bowl LX commercial now.”

Within hours, over 3 million people had watched the 60-second spot, with many saying it gave them “goosebumps,” brought tears to their eyes, and had them hitting replay. Truly a winning moment for Budweiser.
